Russian shelling of Ukraine

Russia regularly shells Ukrainian territory, using a wide arsenal of weapons, from various types of missiles to artillery and aerial bombs. Civilian infrastructure, residential areas, hospitals, and energy facilities are often hit.

A particular threat comes from daily kamikaze drone attacks, which the enemy mostly launches at night. For example, on the night of May 14, Ukraine was attacked by an Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile from Crimea and 145 Shahed-type attack UAVs. At that time, the air defense managed to destroy 80 Russian drones.
