Russia launches over 180 drones and ballistic missiles against Ukraine: Details

Russian occupiers launched more than 180 drones at Ukraine overnight on May 3. The enemy also attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, according to the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
The attackers launched 183 drones from four regions of Russia — Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, and Millerovo. The enemy also fired two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov region and Crimea.
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The air defense forces destroyed 77 drones. Air defense operations took place in the east, north, south, and central parts of the country.
An additional 73 enemy drone simulators were lost due to location-based failure (without negative consequences).
Consequences of the Russian attack
On the evening of May 2, the Russian army launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv. Four districts were hit, and 10 fires were recorded in the city. Private and multi-apartment residential buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, vehicles, and infrastructure were on fire.
As of the morning, 47 people were reported injured in Kharkiv, including one child.
Russian drones also struck Mykolaiv. According to the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, industrial infrastructure was targeted.
