Russia launches missile strike on Kharkiv - Initial details

Russia has launched another large-scale strike on Ukrainian territory, with explosions reported in Kharkiv as well - check all available information about the aftermath of the attack on Kharkiv below.
"Kharkiv has been hit by missiles. Explosions are being heard across the city. Further strikes are possible - please stay cautious," Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported.
He also warned of a continued threat of additional attacks.
As of 1:40 AM Kyiv time, neither Terekhov nor Kharkiv regional governor Oleh Synehubov had reported any casualties.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a missile threat to Kharkiv, as well as incoming Shahed-type attack drones approaching from the Luhansk region.
At 02:08 AM Kyiv time, Mayor Terekhov clarified that Russian forces launched seven missile strikes on Kharkiv.
"The consequences of this attack are still being clarified. So far, there have been no reports of casualties," he said.
Massive overnight strike on April 24
Earlier tonight, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, using ballistic missiles, Kalibr cruise missiles, and attack drones.
The Ukrainian Air Force also warned of cruise missiles launched from Russian strategic aviation.
