Russia launches massive strike on Poltava: Latest reports on aftermath

On March 28, Russian troops launched a massive strike on Poltava. As a result, fires broke out, and damage was recorded at six locations, RBC-Ukraine informs, citing Volodymyr Kohut, Deputy Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Last night, the enemy launched a massive UAV strike on civilian targets in industrial zones within the Poltava community," Kohut said.
According to the Deputy Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, some targets were intercepted by air defense forces, but due to direct hits and falling debris, six different locations sustained damage, including warehouse facilities, an administrative building, and a transformer at one of the enterprises.
"As a result of the attack, fires broke out over a total area of 2,500 square meters. As of 4:00 a.m. (Kyiv time - ed.), all fires had been extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties," Kohut noted.
A total of 19 units of equipment and 90 personnel from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were involved in the firefighting efforts.
