Russia launches kamikaze drones at Ukraine - Where strikes may hit

Russian forces launched kamikaze drones across Ukraine on the evening of April 21 in a fresh wave of aerial attacks, triggering air raid alerts in several regions, according to the Ukrainian Air Force and the national air raid alert map.
Around 10:00 PM Kyiv time, on Monday, Ukrainian forces issued a warning about an incoming attack by Shahed drones, initially targeting residents of the Odesa region.
“Attention! Odesa! Enemy attack UAVs are heading your way,” the Air Force said in a statement on its official channel.
According to the military, kamikaze drones were observed approaching Odesa from the Black Sea, prompting authorities to urge residents to remain in shelters until the all-clear signal was given.
By 10:52 PM Kyiv time, the Air Force expanded the alert, saying the Shahed drone threat now extended beyond the southern regions to include the north, specifically the Chernihiv region.
By around 11:30 PM Kyiv time, the military reported a drone strike threat for the Donetsk region.
“Kharkiv region - threat of attack drones!” the Air Force later added, also warning of a potential strike on Dnipropetrovsk region.

Russia strikes Odesa with attack drones
Several explosions were heard in Odesa during Monday evening’s drone assault.
Monitoring groups said the city came under a massive Shahed drone attack, with reports indicating that around 25 Russian UAVs were spotted over Odesa.
There is currently no official information on the consequences of the strike. However, local channels have reported fires in the city as a result of the aerial attack.
