Russia launches drone and missile attack on Ukraine: Air Force reports on consequences
Russian forces again attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles on July 7. The air defense system shot down all Shahed drones; however, they were unable to intercept the Iskander-M missiles, reports Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk.
"On the night of July 7, the enemy attacked with two ballistic missiles Iskander-M and 13 strike Shahed-131/136 UAVs from the Kursk region," he said.
As a result of combat operations by anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces, and electronic warfare means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 13 Shahed drones were shot down.
Targets were hit in the Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions.

Russia continues to attack Ukraine with drones and missiles, including Iskander missiles. The last night was no exception.
Explosions were heard in Pavlohrad. Later, it became known that the Russians targeted Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, with missile strikes. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
