The occupiers attacked from the directions of Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

How the air defense responded

The airstrike was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

"As of 09:00, the destruction of 47 Shahed-type strike drones and other types of UAVs has been confirmed," the military reported.

Air defense worked in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.

Consequences of the Russian attack

An air raid alert was issued in Ukraine after 1:00 AM due to the drone attacks. Air defense was active in Kyiv and the surrounding region.

As a result of the downed enemy drones in seven regions of Ukraine, agricultural buildings, institutions, private homes, and vehicles were damaged.

Preliminary reports indicate no casualties, and efforts to mitigate the consequences are underway, with aid being provided to those affected.
