On the night of Wednesday, September 24, Russia launched 152 strike drones of various types over Ukraine, according to the Air Force.

On the night of September 24, starting at 6:00 p.m. (Kyiv time) on September 23, the enemy attacked with 152 Shahed and Gerbera strike drones and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles.

They were launched from the following directions:

  • Kursk;
  • Oryol;
  • Millerovo;
  • Shatalovo;
  • Primorsko-Akhtarsk;
  • Gvardeyskoye.

About 80 of them were Shahed drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces shot down or suppressed 126 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types in the north, south, east, and center of the country.

Twenty-six strike drones were recorded hitting seven locations, and debris from downed drones was recorded at two locations.

Attack on the night of September 24

Yesterday evening, the Russian army launched several groups of strike drones. Kharkiv was hit by a massive enemy attack, with dozens of explosions heard in half an hour. According to local authorities, all the strikes hit one area of the city.

The main strike was on the energy sector, and there are power outages in Kharkiv.

The city of Kramatorsk was also under attack. The enemy launched a double strike there, causing damage to buildings.
