In Kharkiv, on the night of April 19, an explosion occurred amid an enemy airstrike using strike drones, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

The mayor of Kharkiv stated that there was a hit in the Kyiv district of the city.

It is also noted that the private sector in Kharkiv was affected by the enemy attack.

Currently, there is no official information regarding possible casualties.

"A Shahed drone has been recorded hitting the private sector in the Kyivskyi district. Details are being clarified," Terekhov stated in a publication on his Telegram channel.

It is noted that around 03:40, the Air Force reported detecting the movement of enemy drones towards the city of Kharkiv.

"Kharkiv - drones from the east heading towards the city!" - the military statement in the network read.

Night drone attack

As previously reported, on the evening of April 18, several groups of kamikaze drones were launched by Russian forces towards Ukraine for another airstrike. Air raid alerts were declared in several regions.

By nightfall, it became known that the enemy had directed strike drones at Odesa, and explosions were heard in the vicinity of the city. Monitoring groups reported the operation of air defense in Odesa during the drone attack.

Additionally, on the evening of April 19, the Russian army attacked the Odesa region with various types of missiles.

Regarding the threat of Shahed drones this night, enemy drones were also detected in the Zaporizhzhia region, where there was also loud activity.

As of now, an air raid alert has been declared in the eastern, northern, and some central regions of Ukraine.
