On July 8, another Russian war crime was committed in a village in Ukraine's Kharkiv region. As a result, not a single resident remains in Tokarivka Druha, according to a statement by Viacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi City Military Administration, on Telegram.

Tokarivka Druha left without residents

According to Zadorenko, shortly after 6:00 pm Kyiv time yesterday, a Russian FPV drone attacked a civilian woman. The resident of Tokarivka Druha was walking along a road between Prudianka and Tsupivka.

"A 57-year-old resident of Tokarivka Druha sustained multiple shrapnel wounds and was taken to the Derhachi hospital," the head of the city military administration said.

Doctors did everything possible to save the woman's life, but she later died from her injuries.

According to Zadorenko, the victim worked at the Derhachi Central Hospital and was the last and only remaining resident of Tokarivka Druha, a village located within the 10-kilometer border zone.

Authorities urge evacuation from the Kharkiv region

The official called on residents of local administrative districts to evacuate.

As previously reported, authorities expanded the civilian evacuation zone in the Kharkiv region in early July, covering parts of three districts due to the worsening security situation near the border and along the front line.

In June, regional authorities also expanded the mandatory evacuation zone in the Zolochiv sector, according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
