Russian forces continue to actively use guided aerial bombs (KAB) for strikes on Ukraine. Since the beginning of the year, they have used more than 10,000 KABs, according to the Joint Forces Grouping on Facebook.

"Over the past three months, Russian aviation has dropped more than 10,000 guided aerial bombs on Ukraine. Enemy aircraft are intensifying strikes on Ukrainian cities, civilian infrastructure, and Defense Forces positions," the military statement reads.

They specified that in March alone, the enemy used about 4,800 guided bombs, while in February, the number was 3,370.

"In total, over the first three months of 2025, enemy aviation has already used 10,577 KABs," the Joint Forces Grouping emphasized.

At the same time, throughout 2024, Russian aviation dropped around 40,000 such bombs.

Ukraine-Russia truce

Ukraine and Russia are holding separate negotiations with the United States regarding a ceasefire. Recently, the parties agreed to a 30-day halt on strikes against energy facilities. This agreement took effect on March 25.

As of today, April 1, the Russian army has already violated the truce multiple times. In particular, artillery shelling damaged energy infrastructure in Kherson.

There is also a possibility of a maritime truce between Ukraine and Russia. However, Moscow is demanding the lifting of certain Western sanctions in exchange.
