Russia hits warehouse with diapers and napkins in Dnipro: One person killed, details

Strike on the warehouses
Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov stated that the Russian army hit the warehouse of napkins and diapers with a missile.
"This is terrorism. Unmasked terrorism... They are just blindly hitting with ballistic missiles at diapers and playgrounds," he added.
For his part, the director of Biosphere Corporation, Andrii Zdesenko, confirmed that Russia struck the company's warehouses.
"Today, a direct hit completely destroyed part of our Biosphere Corporation warehouses in Dnipro. We are now working to extinguish the fire to prevent it from spreading to our production facilities," emphasized Zdesenko.

Russia claims to have allegedly attacked a "military facility" producing strategic products. However, according to the director of Biosphere Corporation, his company actually manufactures diapers, wet wipes, tea, foil, and parchment for Easter.
"I understand that this is a 'terrible threat to Russia,' but, unfortunately, it cost the life of one of our employees," he added.
Zdesenko emphasized that rescue workers, firefighters, and medics are on the scene. They are engaged in searching for people, extinguishing the fire, and assessing the scale of the damage.
What could Russia have used for the strike
Residents of Dnipro heard explosions around 04:00 PM Kyiv time. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, noted that the city was under a missile attack. A large fire broke out.
At 04:03 PM, the Air Force warned of the threat of a Russian ballistic missile launch from the southeast.
Later, the military detected a high-speed target near Dnipro.
So far, officials have not specified which missile Russia used.
Fatalities and injured
As of now, it is known that at least six people were injured due to Russia's strike on the Biosphere Corporation warehouses. At least five of them have been hospitalized.

"A 55-year-old woman is in serious condition. The others are in moderate condition. One person has died," said the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
According to him, the victim of the attack was a 42-year-old man.
