Russia hits Pavlohrad with guided bomb for first time, killing two

Russian forces have struck Pavlohrad in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region with a guided aerial bomb for the first time. The attack killed two people and injured at least 13 civilians, according to Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha, Regional Council head Mykola Lukashuk, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS).
Two people were killed in the Russian attack. The number of injured has risen to 13. Eleven people, including a 13-year-old girl, were hospitalized in moderate condition, while two civilians will receive outpatient treatment. A one-year-old girl was also among those being examined by doctors.
According to the State Emergency Service, the strike damaged an apartment building. Fires broke out in several apartments and in the surrounding area, and cars were damaged.
According to Lukashuk, Russia struck Pavlohrad with a modernized guided aerial bomb for the first time.
"Pavlohrad has lived under missile and Shahed attacks, but it had never faced guided aerial bombs. Now the enemy is modernizing these bombs and can strike deeper. Unfortunately, this is a new reality for Pavlohrad," he said.

He urged local residents not to ignore air raid alerts and to follow updates from Ukraine's Air Force and monitoring channels.
Earlier, two people were killed and at least 10 others were injured in Zaporizhzhia in Russian-guided aerial bomb strikes on July 19.
Russian aerial bombs destroyed two floors of a five-story apartment building. Windows and balconies in a neighboring nine-story building were damaged. Private homes were also damaged.
