Russia hits Kramatorsk twice - Casualties reported

Russian forces carried out two separate attacks on the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk region on Tuesday, July 15, targeting residential areas, Oleksandr Honcharenko, Head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration reports.
As Honcharenko noted, the private sector was under enemy attack. According to preliminary information, there are casualties.
"We are assessing the consequences of the Russian strike," the Head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration wrote.
Background on Kramatorsk
Kramatorsk is a key industrial and administrative hub in eastern Ukraine. Since 2014, after the onset of Russian aggression, it has served as the temporary administrative center of the Donetsk region under Ukrainian control.
The city has suffered numerous attacks throughout the full-scale invasion. One of the most tragic cases occurred in April 2022, when a Russian missile hit the train station, killing dozens of civilians.
Previous strikes on city
On June 21, Russian forces launched seven airstrikes on Kramatorsk, hitting both industrial targets and residential buildings, including a multi-story building.
Furthermore, on July 7, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on the village of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region where rescue teams later recovered the bodies of two civilians from the rubble.
