Russia fires dozens of drones at Ukraine: How many were shot down?

On the night of February 15, Russia launched 70 drones at Ukraine. Air defense managed to shoot down less than half of them, according to Ukrainian Air Force.
On the night of February 15, the enemy launched 70 Shahed-type strike drones and various types of spoofing drones from the following directions: Orel, Millerovo, Primorsk-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (Crimea), according to the report.
How the air defense performed
The air attack was repelled by the EW units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces.
"As of 09:00, 33 Shahed-type strike drones and other types of drones have been confirmed shot down," the military reported.
An additional 37 enemy spoofing drones were lost due to location. Air defense operations took place in Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.
Russia’s attack on the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant
On February 14, Russia attacked the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant shelter with a drone. The drone that attacked the station was equipped with a high-explosive warhead.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared that the drone flying at an altitude of 85 meters targeted the sarcophagus at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, which is why it was not detected by radar.
Later, RBC-Ukraine showed the state of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant’s sarcophagus after the Russian strike.
By the evening of February 14, it was reported that rescuers had localized the fire at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The radiation level is being constantly monitored.
