Currently, urban combat continues in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. However, Russian forces do not have full control over any district, according to the 7th Corps of the Air Assault Troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the Air Assault Troops, fighting continues in Pokrovsk against enemy groups that, thanks to their numerical advantage in manpower and equipment, managed to infiltrate the city and concentrate in different parts of the settlement.

The defenders of Pokrovsk are actively resisting the enemy forces inside the city. Recently, Ukrainian defenses have been reinforced with new units, including assault troops, artillery, UAV crews, and other components of the Defense Forces. The use of anti-aircraft drones and net launchers against enemy Maviks is also being increased. Additionally, routes used by the enemy for infiltration are being remotely mined.

Between October 25 and 26, Ukrainian forces eliminated about 40 Russian soldiers in Pokrovsk.

Those who entered the city are not attempting to consolidate but rather intend to advance further north.

"The enemy seeks to disperse our defensive forces and block land logistics corridors to the city. Therefore, at this time, there is no question of full control over any of Pokrovsk's districts," the 7th Corps of the Air Assault Troops stated.

The military emphasized that the enemy is capable of monitoring movements both in Pokrovsk and in Myrnohrad. Personnel rotation is difficult and occurs with significant delays. Logistics are also limited — necessary supplies are being delivered by both aerial and ground drones.

At the same time, the Russian forces are conducting classic massive assault operations along the entire defensive line of the 7th Corps. Their goal is to break Ukrainian defenses, push the line of contact closer to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, and gradually establish full control over the neighborhoods of both cities.

In total, between October 25 and 26, the Russian army carried out 42 attacks along the 7th Corps' defensive line. However, the Russian forces failed to achieve any of their objectives. Ukrainian forces destroyed 64 soldiers, 4 armored vehicles, 2 transport vehicles, and 6 motorcycles.

Situation in the Pokrovsk direction

Earlier, the Air Assault Troops reported that the situation in the Pokrovsk agglomeration area of the Donetsk region remains difficult. Russian forces are attempting to encircle Pokrovsk, conducting assault operations and using drones and guided aerial bombs in efforts to disrupt the logistics of the Ukrainian forces.

The most challenging situation is currently to the south of Pokrovsk. The occupiers are actively trying to turn the settlement of Zvirove into a gray zone, where they do not have full control.

In Pokrovsk itself, rifle combat continues, and UAV units are actively operating. Enemy attempts to advance deeper into the city and secure positions within the urban area are being stopped through counter-sabotage measures.
