In the area of the village of Hlyboke in the Kharkiv region, Russian forces are deploying additional assault groups consisting of marines and infantry, according to the operational-tactical grouping Kharkiv.

"In the vicinity of Hlyboke, the enemy has moved additional assault groups from the 155th Separate Marine Brigade and the 18th Motorized Rifle Division of the 11th Army Corps to prepare for offensive operations. They are using drones for remote mine-laying," the report states.

Additionally, the military reports that in the area of Murom, located in Russia, there has been an arrival of additional personnel from the 41st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 72nd Motorized Rifle Division to replenish current personnel shortages.

Repositioning in the Vovchansk area

In the central and eastern parts of Vovchansk, Russians continue to reposition assault groups from the 138th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, the 1009th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 6th Army, and the 128th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 44th Army Corps for assault operations.

"It has also been confirmed that the assault squad from the 153rd Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division of the Russian Armed Forces has been withdrawn for restoration, and their positions have been taken over by personnel from the 128th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 44th Army Corps and the Akhmat unit," the JFO in Kharkiv added.

Russian Losses in the Kharkiv direction

During the past 24 hours on July 20, there were 7 combat engagements. The enemy carried out 10 air strikes on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions using 16 guided aerial bombs, conducted 4 missile strikes, and launched 32 kamikaze drone attacks. They also carried out 396 shellings of Ukrainian positions. Since the beginning of the current day, there have been 5 combat engagements, with one still ongoing.

The enemy's losses (both irrecoverable and sanitary) over the past day amounted to 113 personnel. Losses in weaponry and military equipment totaled 29 units, including:

  • 2 tanks
  • 5 artillery systems
  • 8 vehicles
  • 3 pieces of special equipment
  • 11 drones

72 enemy personnel shelters and one ammunition storage point were destroyed.

Russian losses in Ukraine

In the past 24 hours, from July 20 to 21, Russia lost 1,100 troops, one air defense system, and 44 artillery systems in the war in Ukraine.

Additionally, over the week from July 14 to 21, Russian losses totaled approximately 7,620 personnel. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed an enemy aircraft, 4 rockets, and 294 drones.
