Russia deploys missile carrier to Black Sea: Total Kalibr salvo revealed
The Russian Federation maintains two ships in the Black Sea, one of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, citing the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the Naval Forces, as of 7:00 AM:
- There are 2 enemy ships in the Black Sea, including 1 missile carrier;
- There are no ships in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there is 1 carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo capacity of up to 8 missiles.
Meanwhile, the total salvo capacity in the Black Sea is not specified.
How many Kalibrs Russia has
At the beginning of April, Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, said that since the end of September 2023, Russia has not used Kalibrs against Ukraine to replenish its stocks. As of that time, the terrorist state had about 260 units of these cruise missiles. Furthermore, the enemy also planned to produce about 30 units per month.
On the night of May 19, the missile ship Cyclone, which was the last carrier of cruise missiles in Crimea, was sunk in Sevastopol.
