Russia deliberately targeted mobile operator's building in Kyiv - Zelenskyy

Russians are deliberately targeting Kyiv with jet-powered Shaheds, with the attacks continuing since early morning. The strikes have killed and injured people, and the building of Kyivstar (the largest electronic communications and mobile operator in Ukraine) has also been damaged, according to statements by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Kyivstar.
Aftermath of the strikes on the capital
According to the head of state, Russia's escalation involving jet-powered drones is becoming increasingly terroristic.
Throughout the day, targeted strikes on civilian infrastructure in Kyiv have been recorded.
Deaths and injuries — in the capital alone, two people were killed in strikes on gas stations. Another nine people were injured, including a rescuer who was caught in a repeated Russian attack.
Damage to facilities — in addition to gas stations, a hit on the Kyivstar building was recorded.
Massive attack on regions of Ukraine
The president noted that the Russian attacks had been ongoing since the night and had affected several regions. In addition to the Kyiv region, the following areas came under attack:
- Kirovohrad region;
- Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Odesa region;
- Donetsk region;
- Kherson region;
- Kharkiv region;
- Mykolaiv region.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed the need to strengthen air defense and thanked all partners helping Ukraine with missiles for aircraft, and air defense systems.

The company emphasized that the office of Kyivstar's engineering team was damaged as a result of the Russian attack on September 11.
No employees were injured, and the network continues to operate normally.
Specialists are currently assessing the extent of the damage and dealing with the aftermath of the Russian strike.
The Kyivstar network is operating without disruptions.

Nighttime and morning attack on Kyiv
On the night of Friday, September 11, Russian forces attacked the capital with strike drones.
In particular, the Russian attacks caused a fire to break out in a 9-story residential building, resulting in casualties.
In addition, a Russian drone hit an office building in Kyiv's Podilskyi district.
A fire broke out on the fourth floor, causing damage and a fire in two adjacent buildings.
