As a result of the Russian strike on Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region on the night of November 7, a Nova Poshta office (Ukrainian postal service) was completely destroyed, according to the Nova Poshta press service.

"On the night of November 7, enemy drones destroyed Nova Poshta office No. 1 in Chuhuiv. Employees and customers were not injured," the statement reads.

There were 523 parcels in the branch, with a declared value of nearly 10 million hryvnias. Almost all of them were destroyed.

"Nova Poshta will compensate customers for the lost shipments. We will contact you soon and provide details on the reimbursement," the company noted.

The branch’s operations have been temporarily suspended. All shipments have been redirected to office No. 2. A temporary mobile branch has also been set up nearby to serve customers.

Attack on Chuhuiv

On the night of November 7, Russian forces carried out a massive drone attack on Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. A large fire broke out at the sites of impact.

More than a dozen explosions were heard in the Chuhuiv community. The town’s mayor confirmed that over 10 attack drones were directed at Chuhuiv.

As a result of the attack, a civilian enterprise and an educational institution were damaged.
