On its official Telegram channel, the Russian Ministry of Defense cynically reports on attacks against Ukraine’s civilian population.
It falsely claims that only military targets are being struck, yet provides no evidence to support its claims.
This time, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have used new Geran-type drones during the attack on Ukraine.
The ministry published an image of its UAVs in the sky with the caption New and Elusive.
The Russians are ignoring the fact that Ukrainian air defense forces shoot down about 90% of their drones every day.
The Russian Ministry of Defense added a cynical comment to the image: “The Gerans worked hard last night.” This is how the enemy boasts of intensifying its terror against the civilian population of Ukraine.

However, the Russians did not actually explain how their new Geran drones differ from previous models.
Details emerged on how air defense forces repelled the enemy’s air strike and whether they were able to destroy the ballistic missiles.
On the afternoon of August 27, the Russians are once again striking Kyiv, and explosions are being heard throughout the city.
