Russia claims its airspace is safe despite Ukrainian drone threat

Putin's adviser Anton Kobyakov said that Russian airspace is allegedly safe, despite Ukraine's statement about the dangers of flying in the country, according to his comments to the pro-Kremlin outlet TASS.
"We have taken maximum measures to ensure the air safety of our citizens. And I am confident that our airspace is safe," he said.
On the evening of September 2, Russian media reported that around 120 flights had been delayed or canceled at Moscow's key airports, Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo.
What preceded this
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently said that Russian airspace would become dangerous for civilian aviation due to the presence of drones.
In particular, he announced that Ukraine was beginning to close Russian airspace and also warned international airlines and insurers of the need to take these risks into account.
Russian media also reported that after Zelenskyy's statement, foreign airlines began canceling their flights to and from Moscow. Around 30 flights were canceled.
