Russia bombs apartment building in Sumy region: People may be trapped under rubble
Russian troops dropped a bomb on a residential high-rise building in the Sumy region on Saturday. Children are among the wounded, and people may be under the rubble, reports Sumy Regional Military Administration.
“Today, on January 4, the enemy launched an air strike using an anti-aircraft missile on the Svesa community of the Shostka district,” the report says.

“Preliminary, two children and one adult were wounded,” the administration said.

The strike destroyed one entrance of the building.
“An emergency rescue operation is underway. There may be people under the rubble,” the RMA said.

Law enforcement officials reported new victims. Two two-year-old children and three other local residents were wounded in the attack.
A five-story apartment building was damaged, with one entrance completely destroyed.
