On the night of July 2, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with four S-300 missiles as well as more than a hundred drones. Air defense eliminated most of the targets, but there were hits, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

That night, the Russians launched four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Kursk region and attacked with 114 strike drones and decoy UAVs from five directions - Bryansk, Shatalovo, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Air defense eliminated 79 drones in the north, east, and south of Ukraine: 40 drones were shot down, 39 were lost locally or jammed by electronic warfare.

"Enemy strike UAV hits were recorded in 14 locations, as well as crashes of downed drones in 2 locations," the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

That night, Russian troops again struck Kharkiv. A hit was recorded in the Novobavarskyi district.

One of the enemy's drones struck a non-residential one-story building. A fire broke out covering about 300 square meters.

The Russians also attacked the settlement of Vylkove in the Izmail district of the Odesa region with Shahed UAVs. According to local authorities, the port and tourist infrastructure were damaged.
