Russia attacks Ukraine from four directions: Air defense responds

On the night of August 11, the Russians carried out another strike on Ukraine, using 71 drones. The enemy attacked from four directions, the Ukrainian Air Force of the Armed Forces report.
According to the military, starting from 8:30 p.m. Kyiv time on August 10, the enemy launched drones from Russian territory (Shatalovo, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk).
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and counter-drone systems repelled the airstrike.
As of 8:00 a.m., preliminary data indicate that Ukrainian air defense units destroyed or suppressed 59 enemy Shahed UAVs and decoy drones in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
"Twelve UAV strikes were recorded at six locations, as well as debris falling at one location," the statement says.
Russian shelling
Last night, Russian forces launched Shahed kamikaze drones toward Ukraine. Air raid alerts were declared in several regions.
On Sunday, August 10, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. The attack destroyed the Central Bus Station and damaged the clinic of the Zaporizhzhia Medical University. Dozens of people were injured.
The previous night, Russian troops also shelled the railway station in the city of Synelnykove, Dnipropetrovsk region. The station and the station building sustained serious damage.
Due to the attack, the Ukrainian railway company Ukrzaliznytsia reported train delays.
