Russia attacks Cosmonova data center for second time, services disrupted

Russia attacked the Cosmonova data center for the second time in 24 hours, damaging the backbone network. It is reported that the attack has disrupted the company's services.
The company reported a second strike on the data center following the morning attack. All Cosmonova employees are safe.
At the same time, the attack damaged the backbone network, causing disruptions to the company's services. Emergency Service of Ukraine units are currently working at the site.
DCCOSMONOVA technical specialists are still waiting for access to the facility. Once they gain access, they will be able to assess the extent of the damage and determine the work required for restoration.
What is known about the disruptions
The damage was also reported by internet provider Kolo.TV. The company said it was already deploying backup resources and changing routes, but the situation has turned out to be more complicated this time.
As a result of the attack, chats, the website and phone lines are temporarily unavailable. The company said it is working to restore them.
Preliminarily, restoration may take several hours. At the same time, some services may be brought back online sooner.
As a reminder, Russian forces had already struck the Cosmonova data center the previous evening. At the time, the company reported damage to the building but stressed that all customer data had been preserved thanks to geographic redundancy.
