Last night, on July 23, Russian troops attacked two children with an attack drone in the village of Zorivka in the Bilozerka community of Kherson region. Doctors treated the injured on the spot, says Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

"Last night, Russians attacked two children in the village of Zorivka in the Bilozerka community with a drone. A boy and a girl, both 13 years old, were hit by the Russians. They sustained contusions, explosive and closed head injuries," notes Prokudin.

According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, an ambulance crew provided the children with all the necessary medical care on the spot.

Russian attacks on Kherson and region

Russian troops have been attacking Kherson and the region's communities since the first days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Last month alone, the Russians fired about 7,300 shells at the region, killing 29 people, including 1 child, and injuring 252 adults and 3 children.

On July 20, Russians shelled the village of Zymivnyk near Kherson. As a result of the Russian attack, a father and a 17-year-old child were wounded.

In addition, on July 9, Russian troops attacked the village of Pravdyne in the Kherson region. Russian attack killed a boy who was only one year and two months old.

Also, on the night of July 7, 2025, near Beryslav, Russian occupiers dropped explosives from a drone, killing a man.
