Russia attacked southern Ukraine: Casualties reported in four regions

Russia continues to attack southern Ukraine. Settlements in Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions came under fire, according to the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The military noted that due to Russian aggression and enemy terrorist actions, the civilian population of communities near the line of combat continues to suffer. In particular, the aggressor carried out 23 strikes across 8 settlements.
In Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, 2 people were injured as a result of enemy strikes. Multi-story buildings, private houses, and vehicles were also damaged.
In Kherson region, 3 people were injured due to enemy strikes. Multi-story buildings, private houses, an administrative building, educational institutions, a bank office, a bus, and private vehicles were damaged.
Meanwhile, in Zaporizhzhia region, one person was injured as a result of enemy shelling. Private houses, infrastructure facilities, a school, road surfaces, and vehicles were damaged.
In Mykolaiv region, the enemy attacked the Ochakiv, Kutsurub, and Halytsyniv communities with FPV drones. As a result, private houses and an agricultural enterprise hangar were damaged.
Attacks on Ukraine on October 18
It should be noted that during the night, Russian occupiers attacked several districts of Dnipropetrovsk region. This caused several fires, and a hospital was also damaged by enemy shelling.
In addition, as previously reported, on the night of October 18, Russian occupiers again attacked Zaporizhzhia. Several strikes were recorded in the city, followed by multiple fires and damage to a school.
On top of this, the occupiers also attacked Poltava region. In particular, strikes in Poltava caused a fire at a warehouse of finished products of one of the local enterprises.
