On the night of October 6, the Russian troops attacked Ukraine with drones. Fires broke out in warehouses, and one person was injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

“The aggressor country attacked our city again with enemy drones. Unfortunately, one man was injured during the attack and hospitalized in a serious condition,” the statement said.

Consequences of the shelling

The drone strikes damaged civilian infrastructure, including warehouses and trucks. Fires broke out at the sites of the hit, which were extinguished by firefighters.

The State Emergency Service involved 12 units of equipment and 47 rescuers, and the Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Ukraine - 1 unit of equipment and 3 personnel.

Russian shelling of Ukraine

On the night of October 6, Russian troops again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. After 11 p.m., explosions were heard in Odesa, and the military warned of the threat of drones.

Explosions were also heard in Kyiv. Later, the Kyiv City Military Administration said that Russian drones were entering Kyiv in waves and from different directions. The air alert in the capital was announced three times and lasted more than 5 hours in total.
