Russian troops are urgently transferring reinforcements to the Pokrovsk direction due to a lack of reserves, according to Atesh.

Every day, military equipment and personnel, presumably withdrawn from the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions, are heading towards Pokrovsk.

According to agents, the Russian army has exhausted both its main forces and operational reserves, forcing the Russian troops to weaken other sections of the front.

"Agents from Russia's 506th Motorized Rifle Regiment report that hundreds of new soldiers arrive at their location every day and are immediately sent into combat, often without proper registration in the units," Atesh writes.

According to Atesh, this data indicates that the Kremlin is trying to capture Pokrovsk at any cost, despite significant losses in manpower and equipment.

Battles for Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad

Major Andrii Kovaliov, spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told RBC-Ukraine that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding their positions and destroying Russian troops on the approaches to Myrnohrad and in the urban area of Pokrovsk.

Earlier, Ukraine's General Staff refuted Russian propaganda fakes about the alleged encirclement of Pokrovsk.

They noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their positions within the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration, but the situation remains tense. Russian units have already entered the city, but Ukrainian troops are fighting to drive out the Russian troops.

In addition, Russia's Vladimir Putin had previously ordered that foreign journalists be granted unhindered access to the Donetsk region. In particular, this concerns areas allegedly blocked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, and Kupiansk.

The pace of the Russian advance in Pokrovsk and around the city has temporarily slowed, but the Russians continue to try to block the Ukrainian Armed Forces' logistics routes in the Myrnohrad area.
