In the Dnipropetrovsk region, there are no battles between Ukraine's Defense Forces and Russian forces. At the same time, combat clashes are taking place very close to the region, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Viktor Trehubov, Spokesperson of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Ukrainian Troops.

"In the Dnipropetrovsk region, there are still no battles with the enemy (Russian forces - ed.). The fighting is happening in the Donetsk region, very close to the Dnipropetrovsk region," Trehubov stated.

At the same time, the Ukrainian military added that there are currently many questions regarding this. In addition, Trehubov noted that Russia very much wants to exaggerate the situation in the Ukrainian information space.

According to the Spokesperson of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Ukrainian Troops, the Russians are primarily trying to break through in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy is also pushing toward the administrative borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Trehubov added that an active offensive continues in the Lyman direction, Russian pressure has increased in the Kupiansk axis, and in the Kharkiv region in the area of the city of Vovchansk.

In addition, attacks continue in the Kramatorsk and Siversk directions, and fighting is ongoing in Toretsk.

"The new thing is two active offensives in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, which constitute this Russian summer campaign - in our sector, in our zone of responsibility," the Ukrainian military summarized.

'Fighting' in Dnipropetrovsk region

In recent days, information was spread on social networks by Russian propagandists, allegedly claiming that Russian troops entered the first village in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, called Dachne.

However, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied this information, stating that it is Russian disinformation and that the fighting continues within Donetsk region.
