Rostov-on-Don engulfed in flames after suspected drone attack

After explosions in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, a massive fire broke out. The region is reportedly under attack by unidentified strike drones, according to Russian social media channels.
Residents say the blaze is raging on the left bank of the Don River, behind the Rostov Arena football stadium.
Some residents also reported hearing explosions from the direction of the Don. Earlier, a drone threat alert had been declared over the Rostov region.
It is not yet known what exactly is burning. No official information about the cause of the fire has been released so far.
Drone attacks on Russia
Last night, Ukrainian drones struck the Afipsky and Kuibyshev oil refineries.
The strikes triggered massive fires at the facilities and also hit ammunition depots.
According to media reports, during a recent series of attacks by Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, 10 plants across Russia were targeted.
The assaults have knocked out at least 17% of Russia’s oil refining capacity.
