Romania announces results of exit polls in presidential elections: Who is leading
Romania has announced the results of exit polls in the presidential election. Preliminary results indicate that Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu and liberal candidate Elena Lasconi will advance to the second round.
It should be noted that these data do not yet take into account votes from abroad, but it is likely that right-wing candidate George Simion, who is reluctant to help Ukraine, will not make it to the second round.
Immediately after the polls closed, the results of the exit polls of the first round of the presidential election were published. They were announced live on Digi 24. There are two exit polls.
According to the exit poll of CIRA-AVANGARDE-INSOMAR:
- Marcel Ciolacu - 25%
- Elena Lasconi - 18%
- Călin Georgescu - 16%
- George Simion - 15%
- Nicolae Ciucă - 14%
- Mircea Geoană - 5%
According to the CURS exit poll:
- Marcel Ciolacu - 25,00%
- Elena Lasconi - 18,10%
- Călin Georgescu - 16,00%
- George Simion - 14,10%
- Nicolae Ciucă - 13,00%
- Mircea Geoană - 5,5%
Today, on November 24, the first round of voting for the presidential election started in Romania.
