After a whole day of dealing with the aftermath of the massive attack, rescuers have suspended their work in the Solomianskyi district of the capital. Clearing of the rubble is planned to resume in the morning, according to a statement from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"Emergency rescue operations in the Solomianskyi district have been suspended. Let us remind you that today, rescuers worked from night until evening to eliminate the consequences of a severe attack on the capital. The enemy carried out combined strikes on Kyiv, causing significant destruction," the State Emergency Service (SES) reported.

According to the service, 32 people were injured during the day, including 2 children.

"Among the rescuers, 16 were injured and 3 rescuers were killed," the service stated.

The rescuers explained that work will resume tomorrow morning.

Strike on Ukraine on June 6

Last night, Russian forces launched more than 400 Shahed drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. Among the targets were Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lutsk, Ternopil, Kremenchuk, as well as Kyiv and Lviv regions.

RBC-Ukraine reported that three rescuers were killed in the Ukrainian capital due to the enemy attack, and more than 10 State Emergency Service employees were injured.
