Queen Margrethe II of Denmark has been urgently hospitalized in one of the hospitals in Copenhagen after suffering a heart attack, according to the press service of the Royal House of Denmark.

Queen Margrethe II is currently under close medical supervision. Doctors plan to carry out a series of additional examinations over the coming days. Her condition requires continuous monitoring by the country’s leading specialists.

According to an official statement from the Royal House, the monarch will remain in a medical facility throughout the weekend. Doctors aim to ensure her condition is stable.

The palace described her condition as follows, "She is tired, but in good spirits."
