Putin’s statement
According to President Vladimir Putin, Russia will intensify strikes on Ukraine’s infrastructure amid an increase in attacks on Russian territory. He emphasized that such actions are considered a retaliatory measure in response to the enemy’s actions.
Response to strikes and the objective of attacks
Putin noted that the strikes will be carried out in a way that reduces the motivation for attacks on Russia’s civilian infrastructure. According to him, this is a systemic response to actions by the Ukrainian side.
Restoration of facilities in Russia
Separately, he stated that damaged facilities on Russian territory are being restored in a short time and do not create serious problems for the country. According to him, Russia’s infrastructure is capable of quickly compensating for the consequences of strikes.
"We restore everything quickly; there are no problems here. They will not be able to create serious problems for us. We must — and this is the next task — respond to them properly. And we are doing this, and we will continue to increase our strikes on the enemy’s infrastructure so as to discourage them from attacking our civilian facilities. They will not succeed either in dividing society or in causing damage to us in the economic sphere," Putin said.
The Russian President Vladimir Putin also stated that Russia is developing a satellite system that could, in the future, allow the Russian military to control heavy drones.
