Putin cynically 'did not hear' question about killing of peaceful Ukrainians twice

Russian President Vladimir Putin ignored journalists' questions about the killing of civilians in Ukraine, according to the broadcast of the meeting between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.
After Trump and Putin landed at the US Elmendorf-Richardson military base, they simply shook hands on the runway and moved a little closer to the journalists.
"President Putin, will you stop killing civilians?" one of the reporters asked the Kremlin leader.
In response, Putin made a gesture as if he hadn’t heard the question.
A little later, when the two leaders arrived at the meeting venue, the Russian President was asked the same question about the killing of peaceful Ukrainians. He again acted as if he couldn’t hear anything.
Putin was also asked why Trump should trust him. The Kremlin chief’s response was not audible on the broadcast.
