The Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, on the eve of a joint military parade in Beijing, complained about the alleged "militarism" of Western countries and Japan, according to Xinhua.

Putin said that in a number of Western states there is effectively a revision of the results of the Second World War, and the verdicts of the tribunals are openly ignored. According to him, the basis of such dangerous tendencies is the unwillingness to acknowledge the direct guilt of the predecessors of the current Western elites for unleashing the world war.

According to him, under the pretext of imaginary Russian and Chinese threats, Japanese "militarism" is allegedly being revived, and in Europe, including Germany, without embarrassment of any historical parallels, a course toward the remilitarization of the continent is being laid.

Parade in Beijing

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that in Beijing on September 3, a ceremony of Victory Day will take place on Tiananmen Square. It will last about 70 minutes under the leadership of Chinese leader Xi Jinping. The event will become the second parade since 2015 in honor of the official capitulation of Japanese troops in 1945.

Events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War will become one of the key events in President Xi Jinping's political calendar. He will be at the center of activities on the square, showcasing China's power.

The parade will take place immediately after the summit in Tianjin, where Xi Jinping is expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, and other leaders.

It was also reported that during the upcoming military parade, China is preparing to demonstrate the latest anti-ship missiles, combat drones, and ballistic missiles with nuclear capabilities.
