Prince William could publicly embarrass Harry: New claim sparks discussion

Serious tension between Prince William and Prince Harry has long persisted, and now media outlets are again raising concerns about a potential escalation of the conflict. This time, the trigger was a statement revealed in a new royal family biography, according to woman&home.
According to the new book by royal author Tom Bauer, Betrayal, Prince William had allegedly already decided his stance regarding his younger brother.
An unnamed guest, reportedly present at a reception following King Charles’s coronation, claimed that William allegedly decided not to invite Prince Harry to his own future coronation.
The article also notes that despite Harry’s public statements expressing a desire for reconciliation, the brothers have not had a private meeting in many years.
It is additionally reported that they have not been seen together publicly since August 2024.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has already responded to the book and its author.
“Those seeking deranged conspiracy and melodrama know exactly where to find him,” the spokesperson said.

Representatives of the Sussexes also spoke sharply about the biographer himself.
“He has long crossed the line from criticism to fixation,” the spokesperson said regarding Tom Bauer.
In addition to the topic of the coronation, the book also addresses the future status of Harry and Meghan within the monarchy.
Bauer suggests that after ascending the throne, William could act extremely harshly toward the Sussexes.
“Clearly, William was taking no prisoners. Once he was crowned as king, his brother might well show no mercy to him and Meghan,” the royal biographer stated.
The author also believes that the use of Meghan’s royal title for commercial purposes allegedly causes particular irritation for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
According to Bauer, this may have further influenced William’s attitude toward his brother and sister-in-law.
Moreover, Bauer speculates that the issue of the titles of Harry and Meghan’s children could arise in the future.
“William would undoubtedly rail against [Meghan’s] disloyalty. He might even strip Archie and Lilibet of their titles,” Tom asserts.

The article clarifies that Archie and Lilibet received the right to their prince and princess titles after King Charles ascended the throne, as they are the monarch’s grandchildren through the male line.
They are now officially listed in the line of succession as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.
At the same time, the publication notes that, theoretically, such changes are possible; however, in practice, this could provoke a serious reaction within the royal family and among the British public.
Therefore, for such a step to occur, very significant events involving the Sussexes would likely need to take place.
