President of Ukraine arrives in Croatia

Today, October 9, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Croatia on a visit. He plans to meet with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, take part in the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit, and more.
According to the President of Ukraine, during the meeting with Plenković, the parties will discuss the following issues:
- continuation of defense cooperation;
- rehabilitation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces soldiers who were wounded on the front line;
- rebuilding Ukraine.

In particular, the summit in the Ukraine-plus-12 format will discuss international efforts to bring peace and implement the Ukrainian peace formula, as well as joint responses to security challenges and cooperation on the path to the European Union and NATO.
Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit
The last meeting of the Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit took place on February 28, 2024, in Athens. It was also attended by the President. In particular, the meeting brought together the leaders of a number of countries, including Serbia, Moldova, Montenegro, Greece, Romania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Croatia.
Plenković recently announced that his country will host the next meeting of the summit, which is scheduled for October.
