Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday, September 11. He will meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to his X account.

The Lithuanian president posted a photo on social media from the railway station where he was met by an official delegation.

“Just arrived in Kyiv. Good to return and meet my dear friend Zelenskyy in solidarity with Ukraine,” Nausėda said.

He adds that military and economic support for Ukraine is crucial to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Nausėda is expected to participate in the Crimea Platform summit.

International leaders are coming to Kyiv

The Crimea Platform summit will take place in Kyiv today. A number of foreign leaders will come to the summit.

Due to the arrival of the leaders, traffic in Kyiv has been partially blocked, particularly in the center. Restrictions were introduced in the Pecherskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.

Latvian Prime Minister Ewika Siliņa and Czech Senate President Miloš Vystrčil are visiting Ukraine today.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Lammy are also expected to visit.
