Singer Rihanna made another dazzling appearance on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, this time, to support her partner A$AP Rocky, who stars in Spike Lee’s new film "Highest 2 Lowest," according to People.
The superstar, pregnant with her third child, chose a luxurious bright blue Alaïa gown for the occasion. The dress gently accentuated her baby bump and radiated elegance.
She completed the look with a matching clutch, diamond earrings, and gemstone rings. The final touch? A pair of striking stiletto heels.
Rihanna beamed on the carpet, walking alongside A$AP Rocky, who wore a sleek black suit by Saint Laurent.

The 37-year-old star recently voiced the lead character in "The Smurfs 2," and fans immediately associated that with her bright blue gown and the iconic characters from their childhood.

However, the project sparked mixed reactions from her followers. Many are still awaiting Rihanna's long-promised ninth studio album and were instead given an animated movie soundtrack that, according to some listeners, is unlikely to win any music awards.
Still, some fans came to her defense, suggesting her participation in the animated film was inspired by motherhood. Her kids, they say, are big fans of the Smurfs.

For context, this marks Rihanna’s first red carpet appearance in Cannes since 2017, when she attended the premiere of "Okja" alongside Tilda Swinton and Jake Gyllenhaal.
The singer officially announced her third pregnancy during the Met Gala on May 5 in New York.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky already share two sons — the eldest is three, the youngest is one. The couple is keeping the sex of their upcoming baby private, as they prefer to protect their family life from the public.
