On the left bank of the Kherson region, there are certain positions of the Defense Forces. However, at the moment, it is necessary to maintain information silence, states the Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, during a television marathon.
"Right, there are positions, there are certain deployments, but the situation's development still requires information silence. As soon as we can talk about a safer situation for our soldiers, we will definitely inform," she said.
According to her, there is also a danger on the left bank of the Kherson region for the civilian population, which the Russian occupiers use as cover.
The situation in the Kherson region
Earlier, the Ukrainian command reported that the Defense Forces were actively preparing a foothold for an offensive in the south of Ukraine. This involved destroying supply lines, command posts, and enemy depots.
Recently, the Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, announced new "goodwill gestures" from the occupiers.
Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces recently struck at the location of the occupiers in the Kherson region, destroying several pieces of enemy equipment and a depot of drones.
