Posed threat - Israel struck terrorist targets in Gaza Strip and Lebanon

In the afternoon of March 20, the Israel Defense Forces dismantled Hamas terrorist military infrastructure in the Gaza Strip and struck Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, according to IDF.
It is reported that over several hours, Israeli military forces dismantled a series of terrorist infrastructure sites during ground operations in the Shabura area of Rafah, near the Egyptian border.
At the same time, the IDF continues ground operations in the northern and central parts of the Gaza Strip. The military stated that in recent months, Hamas terrorists used one of the sites in the northern enclave. Previously a Turkish hospital, it had been repurposed as a command-and-control center, from which militants directed and carried out terrorist attacks against Israeli forces and the State of Israel.
"In response, IDF troops operated to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure at the site," IDF follows.
Additionally, over the past few hours, the IDF has continued to eliminate terrorists and terrorist infrastructure across the entire Gaza Strip.
Hezbollah strikes
Recently, Israeli forces struck a military facility with underground terrorist infrastructure in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon, as well as a military site with rocket launchers in the southern part of the country, where Hezbollah activity was detected.
The IDF emphasized that they will continue their operations to eliminate any threats to the State of Israel and prevent any attempts by the terrorist organization Hezbollah to rebuild its forces.
Ceasefire and new Gaza Strip escalation
Since January 19, a ceasefire agreement and a prisoner swap between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas came into effect. Since then, several rounds of prisoner exchanges have taken place.
Israel committed to gradually withdrawing its troops from most areas of the Gaza Strip, but the military will maintain control over the buffer zone to protect its borders.
In February, a second round of ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas began. However, the dialogue stalled, leading to the resumption of active hostilities. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the terrorists refused to continue releasing Israeli hostages.
On the night of March 18, Israel launched extensive strikes on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip. According to the latest reports, over 200 people were killed in the enclave as a result of airstrikes, and more than 1,000 others were injured.
