Polish protesters may block the Shehyni-Medyka border crossing point with Ukraine. The blockade is likely to continue until the end of September, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
According to current information, Polish farmers may block traffic towards the Medyka checkpoint opposite Ukraine's Shehyni.
"The blockade is scheduled to start on June 9 at 10:00 AM and will continue until the end of September. Details on which specific categories of vehicles will face restrictions will be provided separately," border guards noted.
Border situation with Poland
On June 3, Polish farmers announced a renewed blockade of the cargo section at the Rava-Ruska - Hrebenne checkpoint on the Ukraine border after a prolonged pause.
For several days, the checkpoint was closed to trucks, causing a queue. On June 6, it was reported that protesters were lifting the blockade at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint for trucks.
