Poland seizes Russian embassy's land for its military (twitter.com/MON_GOV_PL)
The Polish government has decided to give land with a recreational base in Skubianka to the army. It previously belonged to the Russian embassy, according to the Polish Ministry of Defense.
The Polish Minister of Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak, participated in the handover ceremony.
"This is a symbol that signifies that we have reclaimed land from the aggressor, from the state that attacks neighboring countries, i.e., Russia. This land will serve the Polish army, the Territorial Defense Forces, whose command will be located nearby," the Polish minister noted.
He adds that military training for the Territorial Defense Forces will be conducted on these territories.
