On August 15, Poland will hold the largest military parade in its history, involving thousands of troops, hundreds of equipment units, and allies, to demonstrate strength and send a signal to aggressors, Polskie Radio reports.

On August 15, Poland intends to stage the largest military parade in its history - simultaneously in Warsaw and on the Hel Peninsula, where the Navy will showcase its capabilities.

About 4,000 service members, 300 units of equipment, 50 aircraft, and 20 ships will take part in the parade, along with allies from other countries.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, who attended a rehearsal for the parade on August 11, called the event not only a celebration but also a clear signal to Russia about Poland's readiness for any challenges.

"This is a day when we celebrate victory, and our history has many examples of martyrdom," Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized, adding that this day is not only a tribute to historical memory but also a guidepost for the future, as the threat always comes from the same direction.

"Whether it was an empire, the Soviet Union, or now the Russian Federation - the methods are always the same, which is why it is all the more important to show our strength," the Polish Minister of National Defense noted.

Previously, Poland has stated that, in the current situation, inviting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska would be the best decision.
