Pokrovsk defense: Russian infantry losses rise sharply in September

In September, enemy infantry losses in the defense sector of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces increased by almost 30%, according to the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In September, in the defense strip of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the AAF, Russian infantry losses increased by almost 30%. Thus, last month Ukrainian soldiers in this direction neutralized 1,851 Russian soldiers. Of them:
-
irretrievable losses – 1,202,
-
sanitary – 649.
While in August our warriors neutralized 1,456 Russians:
-
928 irretrievable,
-
528 sanitary.
"We continue to hit the enemy’s armored, motor, and automotive equipment. In September, the defenders of Pokrovsk managed to destroy three tanks, disable 41 cannons and MLRS, shoot down and land 3,248 air targets – drones and missiles," the military emphasized.
This month, thanks to the beginning of the use of special interceptor drones over Pokrovsk, 50% more enemy Shaheds were neutralized than in August.
The increase in enemy losses is not only a consequence of unsuccessful attempts by the enemy to attack and capture Pokrovsk, but also of the coordinated actions of the defenders of the agglomeration.
"We study the methods and nature of infiltration actions of the enemy. Based on the results of the analysis, we block attempts of new sabotage groups to penetrate Pokrovsk," the Corps noted.
Thanks to the successful actions of drone crews, it is increasingly possible to hit Russians in places of their concentration and on the approaches to the forward positions of our troops. The military noted that they are gradually expanding the boundaries of the "kill zone," launching FPV drones several dozen kilometers into the enemy’s rear.
Situation on the front
It should be noted that over the past day, 162 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The two most difficult directions remain Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka.
At the same time, it is worth noting that over the last day, the enemy lost 970 soldiers at the front, as well as up to 300 drones, artillery, and a tank. Ukrainian fighters also eliminated an enemy MLRS.
According to the forecast of the General Staff, in the near future, the Russians will continue to concentrate their efforts mainly on two strategically important directions – Pokrovsk and Dobropillia.
