Perfect time for dinner has been named: It's later than you think

A healthy lifestyle can be key to improving your overall well-being, as strict meal times improve digestion, sleep patterns, and hormone regulation, reports Mirror.
When is the perfect time for dinner
Nutritionist Chloe Thomas has revealed the ideal time to eat your last meal of the day - and sticking to it will help digestion, sleep, and hormone regulation.
According to the expert, dinner is the only meal of the day that requires a certain amount of time depending on when you plan to go to bed.
"Meal timing can be important for regulating female hormone energy levels, digestion, and can even affect sleep," she said.
That's because meal times can affect the body's circadian rhythm, which is vital to ensuring a good night's sleep and a healthy evening routine.
When it comes to the last meal of the day, Chloe recommends eating this two to three hours before bedtime. So, if you go to bed at 23:00, plan to have dinner no later than 20:00.
"This allows time for digestion before bedtime and will improve your sleep and reduce any acid reflux issues. Mealtimes can also improve our mood and mental clarity, as long periods of fasting can lead to irritability or brain fog," the expert explained.
As for breakfast, Chloe says it depends entirely on individual needs.
"Some people need it within one to two hours of waking up. This can help stabilize blood sugar levels. However, some people find it helpful to fast in the morning, and it depends entirely on the individual," Chloe said.
Intermittent fasting has been linked to weight loss and improved heart health, although it is not for everyone. For those trying to build muscle, it can be counterproductive.
