We have always wondered if there is any reason to live forever. Several studies have concluded that blood type may be the key when it comes to aging and life expectancy, reports Marca.

What blood type do long-livers have

According to a study published in Planet Today and reported by Cadena SER, B blood type shows greater resistance to aging than other types.

Tissue regeneration and cell repair are part of a slower process, and this blood type is often associated with emotional stability and a deeper need for affection and care.

However, this is not possible without three main pillars: exercise, healthy eating, and stress reduction.

This is not only confirmed by this study, as another previous study conducted in Japan and published in the journal Experimental Gerontology has already claimed that people with blood type B live longer.

Other studies show the opposite. A study published in BMC Medicine says that blood groups A and B are at greater risk of dying from cardiovascular disease.

On the other hand, several scientists from the US National Cancer Institute and Tehran University of Medical Sciences concluded that people with these blood types have a 9% higher risk of dying from diseases in general and a 15% higher risk of dying from heart problems.

This study also noted that the first and second blood groups showed a higher predisposition to developing stomach cancer.
